The Wild Flower Wild Ink Workshop: Botanical Drawings with Natural Inks 7/25/25
This workshop is perfect for anyone who loves flowers, gardening, drawing, flower arranging, colorful summer fun, or all of the above! Using very special ink made just for us with flowers from Bumblebee Farm, we will make a guided drawing of freshly harvested blooms. Then we will let our imaginations take the lead as we create botanical drawings and paintings on a variety of beautiful handmade papers. In celebration of this special collaboration, each participant will take home a special edition collection of our drawing inks.
This summer-time exclusive workshop is designed to coincide with the Phinney Farmers’ Market here on the campus of the Phinney Center. We love shopping and eating at the market on summer Fridays, and we hope you’ll visit Bumblebee Farm and the other fantastic vendors at the market before our workshop.
No prior experience with drawing is necessary. Skills include: drawing and painting with inks, still life observation, composition.
Each student will go home with their one of a kind botanical drawings, special edition set of inks, and notebook. Snacks and beverages will be provided.
