our story
Isabelle Grizzard and Nickolas Robertson founded Piano Nobile in 2006 in Brooklyn, New York. From the beginning, the studio has centered a multi-disciplinary approach to problem-solving, from their first residential and commercial architecture projects in New York, to launching a successful wholesale product line that sold throughout North America and Japan (2007 - 2017). Their work has appeared in many popular design publications, including Elle Decor, Interior Design, Sunset, and Martha Stewart Magazine. Now based in Seattle, Washington, the studio has grown to include a resourceful, inventive team with a deep background in hands-on design and construction.
