The Jewelry Workshop: Introduction to Earring-Making 2/6/26
Learn the basics of earring design and creation with Irene Wood, the jeweler behind local brand History + Industry. Choose from an assortment of beads and stones collected from around the world. We will practice using needle nose pliers to learn basic assemblage techniques to make at least 3 pairs of earrings. Irene will share techniques for composing and balancing the delicate components of jewelry. Findings (the metal structure behind jewelry) include pierced and non-pieced options, hypo-allergenic gold plated, silver plated and surgical steel.
No prior experience with jewelry making is necessary.
Snacks and beverages provided.
