In this two-part workshop, you’ll explore stitch-resist techniques to create intricate, one-of-a-kind patterns on cloth. In the first session you will make a stitch sampler to practice traditional Nui techniques. You will take home your sampler to use as a reference to design and compose on a cotton bandana. Then you will reconvene in a second session to dye your finished bandana in an indigo vat.
