Take your block print one step further and learn to print with two or more colors. In this workshop we will build on the skills you learned in The Printmaking Workshop: Introduction to Block printing by stacking layers, carving multiple blocks, and lining up your paper just right. This workshop builds on your basic block printing skills to help you make bold, colorful, multi-layered art. Skills include basic design for block printing, block carving, inking, registration, and hand-printing on paper. Each student will go home with several multi-colored prints, and your reusable carved blocks.
