When she was a kid, Danielle Adams O’Malley would tag along with her dad at the steel fabricating company he owned. She watched his workers bend, form, and weld the steel into whatever it was needed for -- a chandelier, a banister, or the supports of a house. Her father taught her to weld when she was 10 years old; her first project was a broken tricycle.

After college, Danielle moved to New York City to pursue a creative career as a producer at a prominent advertising firm. After the birth of her first child, Danielle left advertising and delved into her tactile childhood memories of building with metal. The industrial, improvisational atmosphere of metal working continues to inspire Danielle as she develops new work for dao jewelry.

Danielle loves working on special projects and is happy to discuss custom jewelry. Email Danielle.
